  • Payment processors: Payment information is shared with our secure payment processing partners.
  • Service providers: We may use third-party services for analytics, email delivery, and hosting, who process data on our behalf.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

8. Cookies & tracking

Our website uses the following cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for platform functionality (e.g., session management).
  • Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics to measure the pages viewed, how visitors found our website, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics does not receive your name, email address or payment details. It also records when a rental request or booking is made, with the bike and the price but not who made it. Google processes this data, including on servers outside Australia.
  • Private links: Before a page address is sent to Google Analytics, our website removes the codes in rental agreement, renewal and bike QR-code links, and everything else in the address except campaign tags.

To opt out of Google Analytics, install Google's opt-out browser add-on (for desktop browsers) from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or use a browser or extension that blocks Google Analytics. Blocking cookies stops Google Analytics from recognising your browser on later visits, but does not stop page views being counted. Disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.

9. Third-party links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our platform.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
