NSW rules for food delivery riders
- Wear an approved bicycle helmet on every ride.
- Use the high-visibility vest and food bag your delivery platform supplies, and carry your training verification record.
- Adults can't ride on footpaths: use roads, bike lanes and shared paths.
Questions from delivery riders
- Can I use a RedVolt e-bike for Uber Eats or DoorDash?
- Yes. Our terms allow you to use the bike for your own paid delivery work, whichever platform you deliver for. Each platform has its own sign-up rules, and RedVolt is not affiliated with any of them.
- How much does it cost to rent a delivery e-bike?
- The weekly price depends on the bike and your plan: the longer you commit (4, 8 or 12+ weeks), the lower the weekly price. You are billed every 4 weeks, and a refundable deposit is paid with your first payment. Each bike on this page shows its weekly price.
- What do I need to rent?
- You must be at least 18 years old, and valid photo identification may be required at pickup.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You can book as a guest: we confirm your email with a code, then email you the agreement and a payment link once we have reviewed your request.
- What if the bike breaks down?
- Contact the store using the phone number in your order details, and do not try to repair the bike yourself.
